 John Cleese has been quoted as saying… “I could never write better comedy than ‘Fawlty Towers’.”

 I agree with him!  Who Could??

This production has been a Director’s dream:  A wonderfully talented cast; A dedicated, hard working Backstage and Front of House Crew; a perfect script and a sincere desire from all involved to make this production the success it deserves to be!

It has been my pleasure to direct several productions for SPP including Are You Being Served, Cat’s Cradle, Groping for Words, Allo Allo and Harvey.  Fawlty Towers has been a greater challenge to bring to fruition than any of these; but I have a special affection for it and do not, for one moment, begrudge any part of the effort involved in bringing this vision of “reality” to you.

It is my belief that if our world leaders took the time to watch Fawlty Towers and, thereby, gain an insight into the absurdity of life in general, we would all be living in a much happier place.

Everyone involved in this production has unreservedly given their utmost to make it an enjoyable and entertaining experience for you.  I hope you enjoy watching this production as much as I have enjoyed Directing it.
