Actors Wanted For Summer Theatre
“Driftwood Productions”, in association with Southern Peninsula Players, is seeking a number of middle-aged male/female actors to appear in a new Period Costume play at The Briars Historic Homestead, Mt.Martha, during the holiday season of January 2010.
Entitled The St. Helena Enigma, written & directed by the same award-winning author of Napoleon: Murder of an Emperor, the drama examines the persistent claim that it was not Napoleon who died on the island in 1821 but, instead, escaped to live in mainland Europe for several more years.
The two hour play is based upon extensive historical research, the surprise ending explaining why French governments have consistently refused to verify just whose body it is that lies in the Emperor’s fabulous tomb in Paris.
“Driftwood” is a profit-sharing group, rehearsals starting in mid October 2009. For all enquiries phone (0359) 759-692 anytime.
